Samalid Hogan is presently the Consulting Project Manager for the Holyoke Innovation District on behalf of MassTech Collaborative and Pioneer Valley Planning Commission.
Prior to working at the Holyoke Innovation District, she worked at Senior Project Manager for the City of Springfield Office of Planning and Economic Development where she lead neighborhood revitalization projects and initiatives to retain and grow businesses.
Prior to working with the City of Springfield, she held the Senior Economic Development and Policy Analyst position at the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission where she had a key role in building partnerships between organizations from the private, civic, and public sectors to achieve economic development goals for the Pioneer Valley region.
Samalid volunteers her time to serve as Treasurer for the Young Professionals of Greater Springfield, a premier networking organization of young professionals in the Pioneer Valley. She also serves as Treasurer for the Board of Trustees of the New England Public Radio Foundation.
In October 2014, she founded CoWork Springfield - a networking organization and coworking space based out of Springfield, Massachusetts.
Samalid was honored in 2013 with the BusinessWest "40 Under 40 Award" for young business and civic leaders in the Pioneer Valley.
She earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Innovative Practices from BayPath University in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
