HOLYOKE – For more than 50 years, the role of Lynch Middle School was to house students, teachers and staff in the pursuit of learning.
Now the school is about to be positioned to yield something different for the city – cash.
SPRINGFIELD – Massachusetts’ statewide unemployment rate fell in August to 8.8 percent from 9.0 percent in July, according to figures released Thursday by the state Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
The September 22nd meeting of the Holyoke Innovation District Task Force has been postponed. The next Task Force meeting will likely be re-scheduled for the latter part of October.
