Potential Holyoke computing center sites pose different challenges

HOLYOKE – If the choice is Bigelow Street, it will mean either retrofitting an existing building to accommodate a world-class computing center or constructing a new one.

If the nod for the region’s high performance computing center goes to the cavernous and renovated Open Square, it’s likely space will be leased instead of purchased.
